| Introduction | Hi I'm a first time mum who had my baby at 43, to our great joy and surprise.I met my partner when I was just about 40 and he is not much younger. I am loving motherhood and have (so far) had the baby I believe was meant just for us, the grumpy old parents!He's been pretty 'easy' whatever that is. But I have also suffered from OCD in the past (and it still hovers) and this has affected my experience of motherhood to some degree, although happily not as much as I had thought it would. I wonder how many other older mums out there have been through similar? I'd be happy to hear. I'm blogging because I can only find USA based blogs on this subject, which are fabulous but sometimes not relevant. |
| Favorite Movies | I love movies but strangely have barely seen any for 2 1/4 years! Having older parents is something I will discuss but the babysitting is limited... |
| Favorite Music | I love music of many different kinds and it sometimes brings the 3 of us together when life is getting in the way. |
| Favorite Books | I love to read and still read until too late - I think my tiredness is more due to this than older motherhood! |
