| Introduction | This whole adventure started out as a way to exercise my comedic writing chops. My step-father called me "the Erma Bombeck of my generation," and who was I to argue? Somewhere along the line, this blog became a refuge and a journey. There seemed to be as much sad as happy. I don't regret a thing. I love every minute of my life. I love being married to the funniest quiet guy I know. I love that I have known him since I was 14 years old and we have grown up together. I love being the mama to two amazingly bright, witty, sarcastic girls who keep me on my toes every minute. I love teaching and spending so much time with children. I love being the mama to an ever changing menagerie. I am even okay with the fact that this is a flawed blog. You will find typos, misspellings, and misplaced commas. Because this blog is written by an imperfect and utterly human woman. |
