My views do not necessarily represent those of Plaid Cymru nor do I make the claim that they are representative of the opinions of all Muslims. I am confident in the ability of the people of Wales to chart their own course in the world and believe in our inalienable right to self-determination. I believe that 21st Century Wales is a nation that is overwhelmingly Christian in character but that those of us from minority faiths and those who do not hold religious beliefs are equal citizens, equally proud of and committed to preserving our collective Welsh heritage and equally determined to create a Wales that is a safe and prosperous home for all.
