Introduction The year 2009 brings a new dimension for the UMP students, since they are first introduced to the SAE-UMP Chapter. The first step for our club is to form a Formula SAE Team where this is significant factor to provide opportunities for the members to experience how to manage a formula1-like racing team and also to design and engineered an autocross car. This is a first step that requires a many things to be done. The first and foremost is to develop and train the members to be competent in automotive, manufacturing, design, electronics, and even a business fields. Another vital thing is finding a potential sponsor and partner to support our dream to build the racing car in term of money, parts, consultation, and many more that can benefit both parties toward realizing the dreams. Yes! All of you from various background of studies (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Computer/Software, Manufacturing, Technology Management, Industrial Science & Technology) can join SAE-UMP Chapter as long as your are full time student of Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
