| Introduction | Working either very large or very small, I paint in series. What links all of the work is my play with layers. For me, the subject matter falls away and the impetus for the work becomes an expression of visual depth. I use transparent glazes of paint, wax, and resin to reveal the layers involved in creating each piece. |
