| Introduction | Welcome to my first blog folks! =D My name is Adam Field. I'm a 20 year old, second year Biomedical sciences student at Newcastle University. Over June / July 2012 I will be working at Newcastle Universitys Campus For Ageing and Vitality under Dr Viktor Korolchuk, where I'll be investigating how the processes of protein degredation (autophagy) relate to ageing and age related disease. Here I'll be documenting my experiences, thoughts and feelings on what is my first venture into the world of professional scientific research!
