Introduction Stitch Red is a national campaign to raise awareness about the number one killer of women in America, heart disease. Started by Laura Zander, owner of Jimmy Beans Wool, this high profile campaign aims to inform women of the dangers of heart disease, encourage them to lower their risk factors and help them stay heart healthy! Jimmy Beans Wool has partnered with the National Heart Lung and Blood Institutes' Heart Truth® campaign for women about heart disease and many in the needlearts industry to “Stick it to Heart Disease!”
