Introduction	I was born and raised to question everything. I never accept what I'm told, and if someone wants me to accept, they better be willing to back their claims. In this essence, I found a great deal of fault with the War on Drugs, and its impact on the Millennials. Being someone that has never been affected by the War on Drugs, but hearing stories ranging from arrests for a cannabis stem to multiple heroin overdose deaths in a single night, the War on Drugs has a monumental impact on our society. I have found that my perspective seems to differ from most, considering since I began the process of founding NIU SSDP, hundreds of people told me their stories of the War on Drugs. I started this blog to share the perspective of those that have spent time sharing their stories and views with me, and provide a perspective that not many others do.
