| Interests | Mon Ami Farms is an emerging southeastern organic food company based out of Birmingham, AL. Mon Ami Farms' mission is to create a working, sustainable farming operation that adheres to sustainable, organic practices. The farming operation is currently establishing small growing operations in these three distinct regions: West Alabama(Sumter County), Central Alabama(Jefferson and Shelby Counties), and North Alabama(Marshall and Morgan Counties). These operations will be used to supply locally grown, fresh, and organic produce for the production of organic food products that will be distributed exclusively to local markets i.e. Birmingham, Huntsville, Madison, Mobile, Nashville, Chattanooga, Jackson-MS, and Atlanta. It is our sincere desire to reduce the carbon footprint by eliminating the distance fresh and organic fruits and vegetables must travel to reach the consumers' home. In addition, invigorating the local community and spreading organic and sustainable farming practices is a top priority for John Sherrill and Mark Hume, founders of Monami Farms.
