| Introduction | I was born and lived in Ruislip, Middx for 30 years, then moved to Felixstowe, Suffolk for 22 years, before moving onto our 1st narrowboat “Misty Lady”. I am married to Jo. I worked for 32 years for Post Office Telephones then British Telecom as a research & development engineer. I took early retirement in 2001, then spent 2 years teaching climbing at a school in Ipswich. Now living onboard our new narrowboat HADAR, which has been built by Roger Fuller (Boatbuilders) Ltd, a copy of the ex-working narrowboat Pisces that I worked on in the early 1970's (see B&W photo above). We are carrying coal and selling it to other boats as we travel the canal system. |
