About me

Introduction I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. At Immaculate Heart grammar school I got into trouble drawing a parrot asking for a beer.
Interests After studying with political cartoonist John Chase I designed and sold a series of postcards depicting a cockroach attending the World’s Fair. Since moving to Arlington I have taken drawing and illustration classes at Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, and worked for Fresh Fields as a store artist until that program was discontinued. Making art is something I have done all my life. Since 1990 I have been serious about painting.
