| Introduction | I was always a little different. While my friends dreamed of husbands and houses and careers, I dreamed of long, long airplane rides, exotic foods, trails through forests, deserts, beaches and mountains, and fascinating people. I still have those dreams, and have passed them along to my children (Willow, 8 yrs and Indi, 6 yrs) and my (sometimes reluctant) partner, who I'll refer to as "The Scientist". The four of us spend as much of our free time--and money-- as possible exploring our amazing world, both near and far. Get out there!! |
