| Introduction | Hello and Welcome! I'm Bobby Baker. I was born in California and raised in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Here I learned a deep respect for nature and began to explore color, contrast and texture. Here I discovered all the sensations of a nurturing wilderness full of awe inspiring structures, surprises and inhabitants. These are the elements that would carve and shape my artistic sensitivity and my intense desire for bliss. As an adult living in the great American South I am still replete with a child-like sense of wonder and an insatiable desire to keep exploring—to keep experimenting with all that life has to offer. These qualities inspire my work and my art is filled with a spirit of humor, peace and curiosity. |
