Introduction	In the course of researching things related to divorce (about 10 years back or so) I've come across a lot of stories and facts that are harsh and hard to digest. I hope to build some awareness of "the real world" that may be helpful to people who might be in a place to support or encourage others or motivate involvement, whether through advocacy, activism or just a better understanding of some of the issues relating to divorce and involvement in the Family Court System; mostly in terms of what is often referred to as "high conflict cases". These are the cases that can tear lives up, whether a spouse or involved child(ren); unfortunately, I am learning that there are big disconnects where there could be bridges of support. I am going to work on building some of those bridges or communicating where and what I can to encourage their construction.
