| Introduction | I am 37 years old, a husband, and a father of two. I have an Engineering Degree and work as a Sales Manager for an industrial-automation software company. I am a novice backpacker but I am no stranger to the outdoors. I grew up going on outdoor adventures with my Grandfather and in my early adult life explored many of the beauties of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on hiking and camping expeditions. I played Varsity football in high school, I have skied mountains in Colorado, and I have completed a 160 mile two-day bike trip raising money for Multiple Sclerosis research.
