Introduction	I live in Carlsbad, California with my husband and three Jack Russell Terriers. It seems like I've been an artist all my life. My mother taught me to sew, knit and crochet at a young age. I loved looking through magazines and craft books to find things to make, always bugging my Dad or Mom to help. While visiting my family in Michigan, I took a beading class and was hooked. I was inspired by the colors, shapes, and textures of the beads and stones. Vintage elements are also a source of inspiration to my designs. Another direction that I have been exploring is the use of found objects. Designing with these treasures has led me on a very interesting path. Working with these "jewels" has given me a new appreciation for "One man's trash is another man's treasure". I have always been attracted to art, jewelry and fashion of past decades and refer to these for inspiration.
