| Introduction | My name is Angie and I'm a stock trader by day and a book nerd, poet, and writer by night. I love to cook and have been happily married for 10 years. My husband, Les, and I have 5 kids (none together) and one grandson. With only one 16 year old left at home, we are almost "empty nestors" and kind of excited about it. I'm a devoted Missouri Tiger and KC Chief's fan, but in all honesty, I love football ~ no matter who is playing!! I love God even though I no longer find church a passion or a requirement. God~yes. Church~no. If you want to know why I no longer attend a church~ just read the blog ~ it's in there. And, by the way, if you haven't walked a mile in my shoes, then don't judge me or label me or pretend that you know what being in an abusive religious church is all about. |
