| Introduction | I made a living for nearly 30 years as a bookseller at Capitol Book & News. I always joked that if I ever had the opportunity to open my own shop I'd call it The Surly Bookseller, but that just wasn't in the cards. When the store closed at the end of 2015, I set out to rediscover myself, to find a new plow to which I might put my hand, but I'm sentimentally attached to this title, so I'm keeping it. Like most other things in my life, it makes perfect nonsense now. |

| Favorite Movies | Too many to name, and any one that comes with a large bucket of popcorn. |
| Favorite Music | Whatever fits my mood at the time. Thank goodness for iTunes streaming and Spotify. Well, okay. I don't like rap overmuch, but occasionally something from that world catches my interest. |
