| Introduction | You know what influences you as a child is real. I went to an International School in Japan from ages 4-16. I was literally surrounded by kids from all nationalities. Different cuisines I experienced as a child have definitely molded my palate. I believe in organic eating, but I am not an extreme "green" person. However, I avoid buying or eating foods with preservatives and trans fat, and I try my best to support local farmers. I am not a professional chef nor trained in any type of culinary trainings. You will find my food presentations very basic; my photographs are also very very amateur-like (that's because I am an amateur!!). Basically what you see on my photos are how the food came out. Throughout my posts you will rarely find sweet recipes with tons of icing (esp. buttercream variety), that's because I do not like them. Just my personal preference. I hope you get to find out about me through my posts. Cooking for me is very therapeutic; I do a lot of thinking and processing while I cook - thus, many times I am recharged as I cook by myself:) |
