I have a deep appreciation for hand made items which retain the maker's personality, craftmanship, and love (especially if they are old and have a long life story to tell)...I also love finding these objects forgotten and lonely and bringing them to new life as best I can (and as cheaply.) This blog is about my adventures learning how to make over furniture and rescue the "rusty gold" items I come across...
