Introduction	A once enthusiastic fan and follower of politics who has now become discouraged by the blood sport; lamenting the erosion of a middle to feed the flames of fanaticism, the loss of common sense in favor of a common enemy. And what's worse, for all the mediums and all of the information that people receive on a daily basis, they are less informed of the details and nuances of any one issue. If something cannot be distilled into a tweet, we seem unable ot wrap our head around it.
