Introduction	I, Jen Riley, am the owner and chief baker for MagPies. I was born in the States but grew up in England and acquired my passion for baking from my Mom. I eventually turned this interest into a cookie business in England which I sold when I returned to the US. I worked in business for awhile - just to earn a "crust". Then I eventually succumbed to the baking bug and enrolled in pastry school. I sell at various weekly farmers markets, cater for private events and take special orders. I would not be able to undertake this if it weren't for my family and a whole host of friends helping me as I am a busy Mom with four kids (aged 5-10 years)!
