Introduction | I'm a married, stay at home Mom to two wonderful boys, 12 and 7. I volunteer at my youngest son's school and feel very fortunate & grateful to have the ability & freedom to do that. My husband, Kurt and I have been together for 23 years now and married for 13. It's definitely been one hell of a roller coaster ride but he loves me unconditionally and has taught me a lot about life...and how to not sweat the small stuff but just to enjoy it and live it everyday to the best of my ability...It's a journey and so it continues... |
Interests | My family, Movies, Singing, Camping, Date Nights, Sushi, Friends, Photography, Gadgets, Technology, Listening to my 80's station on Sirius |
Favorite Movies | Any 80's movies (can you tell I love the 80's?) Most chick flicks: The Way we Were, The Notebook, Steel Magnolias, Falling in Love, Also love good action flicks: Kill Bill series, Die Hard and one of the best...Layer Cake |
Favorite Music | I love all kinds of music but mainly jazz. I think I'm from a different era when it comes to music for someone my age. I can get as obscure as Big Band music from the 40's! Strange but it's soothing for me...as they say it speaks to me! The only think I can't stand is Rap?? WTH? |
Favorite Books | I've been reading a lot of books by Asian female writers and finding a common bond between their upbringing and mine. Guess we all have the same expectations and disappointements when we enter this country and try to acclimate. Some great reads are: Free Food for Millionaires by Min Jin Lee and most recently Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok |
