Introduction | I call my works "narrative textiles" as they all involve some form of fiber, knitting, weaving, spinning, stitchery, several kinds of felting, printing original photos on silk, beading and various sorts of construction in combination with original poetry or "lyrics". Even if you are just an old granny (like me) who only knits and felts and can't paint with oils or compose music, you can STILL have an art-voice.... and it DOES NOT have to be polite. Shows, etc: July 2009, "Demented Little Rabbits", duo show with Fran Lakatos, at Cranky Yellow, St. Louis, MO. August 14, 2009- September 26, 2009, "Sew What", Flax Gallery at Art Dimensions, St. Louis, MO August 2009, two semi-wearable pieces are being used in a music video for Strych9Hollow, St. Louis, MO November 2009 "Danse Macabre III" in London and Nottingham, England |
