Introduction My Grandma was Ivy May Lawton she is my main inspiration for doing what I do. She was a fantastic knitter she taught my Auntie Jenny and my Mum how to knit so it was only a matter of time before I started to. I was first taught how at primary school but could not get my head around it, once I had started college and chose to specialise in textiles I found my talent. Now a day doesn't go by without me thinking about it or designing patterns in my mind. I am currently support students with Engish and maths at an FE college which I find both rewarding and challenging, everyday is different and this makes life really enjoyable.

Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?

Flexibility is more important to me. Being flexiable and able to adapt to changing situations will help me to continually develop my skills and adapt to the changing world.
