Introduction	John Paul Maynard conducts independent social science research projects, A legal anthropologist, he studies unwritten codes. He is a graduate of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Harvard University, and did his PhD work at NYU, on Islamic land law. He lives in Tashkent.
Interests	Heading out to remote areas untouched by modern conveniences. People who do not think as I do. Seeing through concepts, gauging them, including numerical data.

Favorite Music	i'm ethnomusicology nut. play the sitar, N' Indian rudra vina, i also like Chinese musics, African musics. Bolero, Folk, particularly ballads.
