| Introduction | Standard introductions always make me feel like I'm attending some sort of AA meeting. For those of you that need a launching pad: 1) I am 40 years old. 2) I have a hilarious, insightful and talented 6 year old, and a hilarious, emotionally complex and imaginative 2.5 year old 3) I used to know what my writing niche was, I BELONGED....but now I'm experimenting with new areas of writing, not so much trying to belong, but at least trying to visit. 4) I'm trying really hard to stop censoring myself just because we're all adults now and people might be paying attention to what I say. 5) I really like lists, especially lists of things to do or read or see or try, that I can have fun crossing off. 6) I'm not perfect, but I am way better than I used to be, in many ways. In other ways, I have realized that how I used to be was just fine to begin with. 7) This monkey's gone to heaven. |
