| Introduction | To get the most out of my blog, instead of reading the posted entries (on left) from top down, scroll to the bottom & click "older posts" until you're at the beginning. Reading beginning to end will improve the meaningfulness. You can see better quality in the paintings & photos here sometimes by looking at them from more of a distance and you can click or double click on some to enlarge them. Beyond that, you'll have to wait until I've taken & mastered a few photography courses & get better equipment to make them look more presentable here! Between the week before Christmas 2005 and the month before Thanksgiving 2006, my last grandparent (father's mother), last sister, and father all passed on to the next life after each was diagnosed 3 months apart with cancer beginning early spring of 2005. This site is part memorial, dedicated to my beloved guardian angels, along with aTi, the Geraldine Dodge Foundation, and Victoria Foundation for helping me heal and feel rejuvenated through memorials of family & long lost loves: the arts & nature, 2 of my 1st loves. If expecting all sad news, you'd be wrong; so please read on. |
| Interests | Morals: donating to a variety of human rights & environmental causes. Ethics, truth & justice are important + making a difference. Naturalist: I love nature, esp. bodies of water, incl. water sports, birdwatching & animals in general,farming, environmentalism, Mts. & other beautiful landscapes, flowers,gardening,parks, hiking,& skydiving. Talents: I love decor, scrapbooking, arts & crafts incl. the several paintings I've done in the last year & a half. Other talents incl. dancing & all forms of writing, incl. poetry, journalism. Hobbies: I love multi-cultural arts & history. I have traveled to most continents & plan on touring more. I enjoy reading, movies,fine dining, concerts, theater, board games, TV, skating, & have interest in almost everything except sports requiring more than 2 players. :) Reality: Mind you, the actual act of "doing" most of this stuff on a "regular" is still in my dreams but I slip them in when I get the chance, especially vacations. Health: I love cooking & eating healthy but don't get as much time for it as I'd like. My goal is physical fitness & I even have 3 whole weight machines although most exercise consists of walking my dog, playing ball, or tag with he & my cats. Professionalism: I teach history & am interested in real estate investing, entrepreneurship, & financial empowerment b/c I strongly desire financial freedom. |
