| Introduction | I’ve noticed that women tend to want more from life as they get older – not less! They are no longer content with their lot and want to try new things. More and more women in their forties/fifties and beyond are setting up their own businesses; some feel liberated when the kids get older and want to rejuvenate their social lives; others decide it’s ‘me time’ and decide to do something extraordinary. One thing I’m sure of, when a group of like-minded women get together for a special event or even just a glass of wine there’s a lot of fun to be had, a special camaraderie filling the air, and an understanding and mutual support that’s hard to find anywhere else. That’s why I started hens dancing. |
