Introduction First off, one must remember this is a blog. Everybody has an opinion (and we all know what those are like). I'm a graduate of the University of Arizona, where I received a BA in Psychology. I have since received a certificate in feature film writing and story analysis from UCLA Extension and have taken classes from such luminaries as Steve Mazure, "Liar Liar." This blog isn't about the latest releases as it's more of an opinion on DVD/BlueRays that are out, some new, some older, and some you've probably never heard of. Anyway, I hope you enjoy. Thank you for stopping by.
Interests Golf, golf, biking, watching movies, pro football, trying to write screenplays, golf, running, golf, trying to analyze movies, boozing with friends while playing golf, reading screenplays (both produced and unproduced.) And, did I say golf?
Favorite Movies I haven't been into movies my entire life. I was too wrapped up in music and partying to give a crap. So, I've been playing catch-up the last few years. I'm no expert, but I feel, by now, I have something to say about the movies I see. Some of my favorites to this point, not in any specific order: Mulholland Drive, Mememto, The Lookout(I went to high school with the writer-director), In The Loop, Pulp Fiction, There's Something About Mary, Groundhog Day, Psycho, North by Northwest.
Favorite Music As I progress through life, (subtext: as I get too damn old) I'm enjoying smooth jazz a hell of a lot. Still like the rock and roll.
Favorite Books Not the voracious reader most "writers" should be, but I'm workin' on it, OK! I know it's cliche, but "Catcher In the Rye" "kills" me. I'd love to have Holden's attitude for one night in N.Y. Sure, he's crazy, but aren't we all?
