| Introduction | I'm a Processwork Counselor and Trauma Therapist. I also am a writer with the mother of all writer's blocks. I dreamed it as a child as a giant mushroom full of maggots, blocking my way from my family home to the world. I also knit socks, and am trying to wean myself off that because it's a time suck, and also I just bought toe shoes and I think I might never wear regular shoes again. I'm a little concerned about putting my almost raw self out here - that's concerning anyway - but also I don't know if it's a good thing if my clients see. I mean, I believe it's helpful for clients to see their therapist's flaws. We are all of us struggling in our own ways, and pretending not to is damaging. It's just that too much may be too much. But anyway, I also don't want to post under a false name. So much in the world is false. When I am not being over-shy and hiding myself, I can only be deeply transparent. |
