Introduction	Thanks for visiting my blog. For those who don’t know me, I am a professional costume designer working out of NYC for over ten years; I have also been adjunct faculty at Marymount Manhattan College since 1999, and I recently received my MA in American History from Rutgers University, where I focused my studies on twentieth-century material and popular culture. For several years, I’ve used a webpage to display pictures of my work – but I’ve never updated it – not a single time! It often bothered me that the ‘online portfolio’ that I relied on was so out of date, but as a true technophobe, I didn’t dare add anything by myself. I hope that this blog will be an easier solution. I also hope to include relevant information regarding the work of my colleagues, both academic and professional, in the fields of design and culture.
