Introduction I'm a feminist poet and performance artist. I'm a midwife of words and dreams. My intentions are to raise awareness and offer hope for a better world. I embrace a transnational, ecofeminist performance poetics that includes my full-length one-person show, Depleting Patriarchy, addressing the global impacts of depleted uranium on human bodies and earth bodies. My dissertation is a feminist autoethnography of possibility that puts on display stories of homeplace to reveal vulnerable resistance as a transformative strategy towards global justice. My poetry has been published in We’Moon: Gaia Rhythms for Womyn; Art of Survival: Women, Healing, and the Arts; and Radio-Free Boskydell: a Literary Magazine for Southern Illinois. I hold a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Department of Communication Studies; a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies; and a Master of Arts degree in English.
