Introduction	I'm a mom first and a grad student second.
Interests	Coffee, scrabble, books, celebrity gossip, history, teaching my kids the truth about what they have been taught in school, chick rock, and more coffee.
Favorite movies	I like stupid comedies such as Superstar, Knocked Up, I Love You Man, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Friends With Benefits, and The Sweetest Thing. I love The Way We Were, Reality Bites, The Hours, Gone With the Wind, and I am usually pleasantly surprised when my boyfriend brings home superhero movies.
Favorite music	Chick rock. I never get sick of Ani Difrano, Fiona Apple, or Amy Winehouse. I also like old country like Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson. I love Eminem. Totally inappropriate for a mom who drives a minivan full of kids but I can't get enough. Listening to him takes me back to a specific time in my life and I love it.
Favorite books	I love books. This sections could get ridiculous but I will keep it as short as I can. Still Life With Woodpecker is amazingly strange and wonderful, I try to read Mists of Avalon once a year, I love anything by Wally Lamb, Jennifer Weiner is fantastic and I read anything she writes as soon as it comes out, I also like Jodi Picoult, Stephen King, Freedom is a great book, and I am anxiously awaiting Jenny Lawson's Let's Pretend This Never Happened.
