| Introduction | Graduated from college with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1967. Served in the Navy for almost five years as a Regular Officer. Logged 190 plus combat sorties in Vietnam. Retired after 27 years as an Airline Pilot. I was born with an insatiable curiosity that continues to this day. Rather than list the thousands of books I've read, I'll list a few that I read in High School. Seven Pillars of Wisdom by T.E. Lawrence. Street Without Joy by Bernard Fall. Commentaries on the Gallic War by Julius Caesar, etc. Fiction, not that much. I've lived in Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Puerto Rico, North Carolina, Alabama, California, Vietnam, Hawaii, Washington and today, Arizona. I've rock climbed, mountain climbed, canyoneered, motocrossed, ran a couple marathons, hiked, backpacked, mountain biked, body surfed, belly boarded, skin dived, scuba dived, but not being especially coordinated, mastered none of these. I've broken seven bones including my neck. I'm an atheist in respect to Christianity but an agnostic toward the supernatural, awaiting any evidence of which I've encountered none. |
