| Introduction | I hear that Michelle Obama calls herself "Mom-in-Chief," but if someone were to ask me, I'd like to be called "Chief-of-Staff" or perhaps even "Domestic Goddess." I spend a good portion of my time taking care of my family (my husband, our 9-year-old daughter, and our dog, Cooper) and our household affairs. I also work part-time from home doing accounting and bookkeeping work. I left the "regular" working world after 25 years in public and private accounting. Then our daughter was born and a year later we moved to Las Vegas when my husband transferred by his then-employer. We have been in Las Vegas for over 8 years. I enjoy cooking and digital scrapbooking when time permits. I am happy when the refrigerator is stocked, the house is clean, my family is in good spirits, and I have some time to enjoy my own pursuits. |
