| Introduction | Hi- I am Laura. I strive to be artsyBE. I am happy to BE an artsy wife and mother, sister, daughter and friend. I earned my Associates of Science Degree in Art from Cazenovia College in 1991 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Studio Art from SUNY Cortland in 1993. In those 30 years since graduating I have been a wife, mother, substitute teacher and Girl Scout Leader. I have never lost my love of art and have always been interested in the therapeutic quality's art can have on the mind. I love my family, friends, art and nature. I love to be in the Adirondack Mountain air kayaking, hiking or camping. Most recently I have gotten back into my art and have discovered dot mandala painting, and Zen tangle both are very relaxing and therapeutic. In addition to this blog, artsybe.com, I have been working on starting a business. Finally after all these years of taking care of my family I finally can make more of my dream's reality.
