Introduction I am Marie Viljoen (fill-YOON, for non South Africans) the author of 66 Square Feet. I was born in Bloemfontein, came of age in Cape Town, and grew up in New York. I cook, garden and forage in Brooklyn where I live with my French husband, Vincent Mounier.

66 Square Feet - A Delicious Life is my first book, a 12 chapter (and month) biography of botanical New York and the recipes it inspires. My next book is a wild foods cookbook, Forage, Harvest, Feat, out in August 2018 (Chelsea Green Publishing).
