| Introduction | Hello! My name is Cathy Embry. I am a senior and will be graduating in December. I am so excited! I will earn a Bachelor of General Studies with concentrations in Woman's Studies and Sociology. I plan to earn my teaching certification once my undergraduate degree is complete. My dream would be to teach 2nd grade but I will be happy to be given the opportunity to teach any age. I believe being healthy is of utmost importance. I work out as often as possible, try to eat smart and keep my stress in check. I am hoping to learn from this class new ways to stay healthy. I have tried to maintain a healthy lifestyle thus far but would like to live disease free for the remainder of my life. I am also hoping to read some new research and delve into areas that are not common knowledge. One thing I guess you say is unique about me is that I used to model. In fact that was the major reason I left my education behind. friends who went on to college after high school so I didn't feel that push from my peers like so many of you all probably do. |
| Interests | I enjoy playing golf. I've been playing since I was 13. My three kids are finally into it and it is so much more fun to play as a famiy. |
