| Introduction | Welcome to the blog for Anne's Art Shoppe!
I am a stay at home mom who homeschools my 3 kids. J is 14 and in the 9th grade, E is 10 and in the 5th grade, and P is 4 (almost 5) and in kindergarten. As a teenager I experimented with several different paint mediums. I took some art classes and really enjoyed it. My family, especially my Great Aunt Helen, recognized my talent and encouraged me to pursue art as a career. Being a stubborn teenager I had different ideas. Now all these years later I have finally decided to listen to that advice. I have opened Anne's Art Shoppe. I create colorful, whimsical, paintings using acrylic paint on stretched canvas. I am always looking for ways to improve and gain knowledge of creating with this medium. Currently my paintings are for sale on Etsy. In addition to painting, I enjoy photography and scrapbooking. |
