Government is a necessary evil and has specific and minimal duties - defense, the administration of justice, and the preservation of individual liberties. I am a supporter of self-reliance, self-responsibility, and strongly oppose the welfare state. The forced giving of income through tax collection for redistribution of wealth is unethical, immoral, and counterproductive to the preservation of a free society. |
