Introduction	Carondelet Gardens Urban Farms . Located primarily in South Saint Louis ,we are a collection of farmers who love to grow and harvest in urban settings .Our members are from all walks of life who come together on common ground to share our love of growing green things ..and not so green things. The farm produces a wide range of produce and is often distributed amongst the local poor. A teaching Garden that practices sustainability and natural agriculture ( no pesticides or chemicals for fertilizers ) ,we compost and practice experimental gardening techniques suitable for urban areas . Food preservation and modern homesteading techniques are implemented . We operate a completely sustainable chicken and duck farm and we are helping to turn saint Louis restaurants green...one restaurant at a time.
