Introduction	Hi my name is Alex Giakas; I am the creator of this blog you’ve decided to read. I am 20 years old from New Jersey, and attend school at the University of Rhode Island. First of all, thank you for choosing my blog; it will not let you down. All my life I have been intrigued with the ideas of blogs so I finally chose to start one myself. I had to get the perfect topic, which I did. My whole life I have been on a mountain, in the winter at least. I started out Skiing when I was only 6 years old then made the transition to snowboarding when I was 11. Since then I’ve had a passion for it, but it’s not my priority as I assume for other people as well. I love snowboarding so much but it’s not going to be a career for me, I’m average I don’t have the time or live in a region where I can snowboard all year round. This is how I created the idea for my blog. I wanted to give other average ski and snowboarders a review of mountains in North America from the POV of an average snowboarder. I consider myself a pretty normal guy and I think that people will connect with the reviews I give them. I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
