| Introduction | We are both Illinois State University education majors who decided to complete our student teaching in San Antonio, Texas. We met two years ago, in Math 190 at Illinois Central College, over a shared loved of Skittles and Doritos. Realizing that we were both attending ISU at the same time, we became fast friends. In fact, we are SAJMQSZDSRBFF's (feel free to ask what that means). When we had to make a decision on where to student teach, we both knew San Antonio was our destination. This is our final semester and we wanted to have a little adventure before graduating. We know that student teaching is a lot of work, requires a great deal of time and dedication but we are anxious to complete our final leg of this journey here and together. This blog was created for our family, friends, peers, teachers, professors, and anyone else who is interested in our adventure. We will use this as a forum to discuss our student teaching experience as well as travels throughout Texas. Just so everyone knows, this is not an ISU requirement, just something we are doing for fun! |
| Favorite music | We saw Sugar Ray (and danced with Mark McGrath) a week ago. We are also going to be seeing Secondhand Serenade, Parachute, Umphrey's McGee, Living Colour and Chickenfoot over the next couple of months. |
