| Introduction | I work at the American Book Center as a buyer for Business books and Mystery/Thriller books. I am a jazz singer (Lady Grey), I am backing vocalist in the band 'Rose' and I'm at all times working on my own sound and active in various musical projects. I read a lot. Generally Business books or life enhancing books, but also I love (childrens) fantasy books. Lately I'm starting to read more mystery/thriller books, to understand my section better (that is, I've bought the books), but I'm not much of a 'general fiction' reader. I am addicted to cookbooks. I use them a lot too & I save all the receipes that are too good to ever forget. That secret book of receipes I'm making might one day become the menu of a cute little lunchroom... hoe knows? I love finding out people's signs and seeing in what way they resemble them. I love to analize life through people, their actions, their motivations, their words, their books, their looks, their body language, their culture, their religion... everything. Understanding people, helps me to understand life. I have no greater desire than that. |

| Favorite music | Ha! Impossible! But I've been blessed with a beautiful year in which I got to meet (and in some cases perform with) some artists I look up to, Lalah Hathaway, Frank McComb, Marcus Miller, Joyce Kennedy, Chacka & Indira Khan, Sandra St. Victor, Simone (daughter of) and if I count previous years, India Arie. My Favorite is Quincy Jones. A million names follow, and he may not be the best, but he is my favorite. |
