| Introduction | My husband and I just had our first child in September of 2007. As you can imagine, I found myself awake at odd hours of the night. As he got older he started sleeping more and only would wake up once in the early morning. It is in this time that I would have my best conversations with the Lord. That is why I am calling this blog "first light." I don't know if it is because of the lack of distraction or maybe because I was too tired to have any inhibitions. But for some reason, that is the magic hour where He speaks clearly and I listen. So... I would like to share those things here. It is my intention to use this blog as a daily/weekly journal to post thoughts, dreams, words, insights that I receive from the Lord. I feel it is time to move beyond the walls of our small circle. He is a big God with big thoughts that He wants to share with His people. It is my hope that you will be encouraged, built up and edified by these words from Lord. He is urging me to get gut-wrenchingly honest with Him and in return I believe He will do the same for me. Please enjoy and seek Him for truth in these things. |
