| Introduction | The title of this blog is a phrase that has stuck with me lately. When I first thought of it I thought it would make a great book title or song idea, something creative. I liked the phrase so much because I realized the girl doing the chasing was me and the beauty I am chasing is this inner need that every woman has to feel like she is enough. Like her pieces fit together to make a complete image that is beautiful. That physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually she is complete and whole. I guess the beauty I am referring to is really an essence. I love to surround myself with beautiful things, to expose myself to art, music, and poetry, to get dressed up in an outfit that is me, to show others how much I care, and to understand myself and my purpose. Most importantly I pursue beauty by pursuing God and trying to become my best self for Him. I am the girl who chases beauty. My goal in life is to become the beautiful person God created me to be because He is the Beauty I am chasing after. |
