| Interests | About my blog names: "Multiculturalism" and "Interculturalism" are, to me, synonymous with exploring other cultures more than superficially (food, dance, art), by making comparisons to one's own. Here in Canada we are well-integrated cauldron of cultures...well, no, not exactly. We're not perfect. The best I can do is explore the cultures around me and discover to what extent they are accurate reflections of that culture's traditions. Instead of being a culture consumer, I try to live up to my Canadian intercultural ideals and delve into the murky waters of food traditions. |
