Introduction	I'm a newly married Texas girl, living in the cold city of Anchorage, Alaska. I love my fabulous husband, and our sweet Blue Heeler Ember, our new maltipoo Wendy, and learning how to survive winter here. I catch, clean, and smoke my own salmon, have a fabulous garden that is growing quickly, and love our life here in Alaska. I do, however, look forward to building our home outside of the city- complete with a BIG garden and chickens. I've recently begun working on improving my health through healthier eating and running, which has been quite a trip! I completed my first 5K on August 15, and have many more races planned.
