IntroductionWelcome to my health and fitness adventure! I am a shift working wife and mother of two, and as such, life gets a little stressful. Devoting some time to take care of myself gives me the energy to keep with up with my everyday personal and professional responsibilities ... even when I'm working nights! And you'll see how I manage it all right here. (Seriously, if I can do it, you can, too!) Here are the basics: I try to workout for at least 30 minutes at least 5-6 times a week, with a combination of a local boot camp workout (~35 minutes each time) and running on my own. My diet is high protein, healthy carb, and healthy fats ... with my workouts allowing for some room for indulgences like wine, occasional sweets, and treat meals.
